Professor Willen is great. I took Law of the Internet with him and really enjoyed the material and the discussions we had. He helps students along with cold calls and isn’t too intense about it. He does assign too much reading. We would regularly have 60-80 pages assigned which is an insane amount for a 2-credit class. Even taking that into consideration, I would recommend the class.
In taking Law of the Internet, I found Professor Willen to be a great professor. The material (casebook/supplements) was excellent and he excelled at answering specific questions and simplifying difficult concepts/cases. His cold-calls were mild and straightforward.
The discussions could be stilted at times, but this was mainly because students did/could not do the reading. I concur with the other post in that too much reading is assigned for a two credit course. Ultimately though, the exam is a fair one and I’m happy I took this course.
TLDR: Assigns a bit too much reading, but good professor. Would recommend.
