If you’re thinking about taking Federal Indian Law with him, I’d think twice.
The Good: You can get away with doing no reading (so the workload can be close to 0), Prof. Fletcher is pretty funny, is an expert on Indian and tribal law, and is unbelievably chill.
The Bad: Because of the chill-ness of the class, it’s extremely disorganized, it’s impossible to tell what’s expected out of you, and impossible to know how grading will go. He had two tracks of grading: One where students did periodic assignments, and one where students did the normal final exam. Both were (I think) on the same curve, which made it very unclear how grading was going to work. He also seemed to have no idea how grading would work. So even though it’s a light workload class, it’s far from an easy A.
