  1. If you are interested in immigration at all, you should definitely take the Human Trafficking Clinic. 99% of the work is immigration work – T Visas, green cards, citizenship applications, etc. It really fun and rewarding. Even if you’re not interested in immigration, the clinic is fun and satisfies the law school’s international law requirement for graduation, which is super helpful since the other options for fulfilling that requirement are limited.

  2. I worked here during the summer and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. Make no mistake; this is intense work. However, I learned a lot about our immigration system and myself. Elizabeth Campbell and Danielle Kalil are the main professors I worked with and they are both fantastic! I learned a lot from them and you will certainly make a difference in this clinic.

  3. I had a really positive experience in this clinic. I thought that some of the seminar classes could use some work and once in a while it did feel like there was a lot of busy work (we had “journals” due to our supervisors, etc.) but it was fine. I put in a lot of time to this clinic in terms of my client cases and learned so much. I would definitely do the clinic again, but I would probably try to be more active in the first half of the clinic so that there wasn’t so much left to do in the second half. I also felt like it was hard to know how I was doing in the clinic because we didn’t get graded assignments even though we were frequently turning things in. If you have any interest in immigration, I suggest this clinic for you.
