  1. I had her for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. She is very laid back and always helpful if you have questions. The clinic is 4 credits mandatory p/f. We have a 2 hour class each week in addition to 6 hours of office hours. There were assigned reading for the class (code sections, IRS regs, some articles). Two hours of class time each week might be overkill. It would have been better if we were assigned more case work and spent only an hour with the class portion each week. However, I would still recommend the class just to build on client skills whether you are interested in tax or not. Also, working with Nicole is low-stress, so this would be a good clinic to take if the rest of your course load is on the heavy side.

  2. I had Nicole for a pass/fail 1 credit class. She’s very sweet and clearly cares about teaching the subject. However because she was so laid back, it was definitely one of those classes where most people didn’t read or put in much effort and skated by. I was fine with that but if a lack of accountability bothers, just a warning!
